Election Day

The person that invented the expression, 'experience is the best teacher, ' should be given much kudos as he is right to be frank. Though, many have argued that if one is waiting to learn form one's experience, he or she is said to be fool. They claim it is better not to made mistakes. But to me, I believe strongly that experience will always be the best teacher. Where many are getting it wrong is. They felt experience is only limited to what one experience in course of your journey in life. Apparently, it is not always true as we learn form other people's experiences, that is those that have once lived before us and those that one sees around, together with one's experience.

I said this not because of anything other than the fact that the just concluded election for the governorship and state house of assembly went smoothly and flawless in discharging my duties as a presiding officer in the election I because I just had one election a week before which made things easier for me. The election before the just concluded one; presidential and federal house of assembly. U had use manual(information about the election) all through in carrying out most of the functions I needed to acted on, checking the instructions often so as to avoid mistake. The APO 1, in charge of card reader, complained bitter in the election before the just concluded one about the card reader malfunction but only for me to realize that the card reader is strange to the user. And the experience deduce from the earlier made the exercise easy(using the card reader for the latter election) which led me to think that nothing is wrong with the machine as she had claimed.
Experience will always be the best teacher no matter how meagre it might be. image

23rd of February was the presidential election and federal house of assembly respectively in which the incumbent president won candidates form other political parties, outreach, with more than 3 millions votes. It was obvious that the masses wanted him in power again for the next four years; second term. Though to me, the candidates from the popular political parties(political outreach because individual is powerful than the political party) even the incumbent, were not competent enough, not that they didn't have the experience but their effectiveness need questions( old age) image a president at age 83, where is the strength, prowess and power to lead, what is the probability of him survival the stress attached holding unto the position of power. And the course of this lies patiently in the hands of the policies makers, political leaders, that see no value or important in the so called youth of nowadays. What is now the meaning of this saying that youth are leaders of tomorrow but that seems not be wrong in my country where youth were not even given privileges follow in the decision making body talkless of allowing them to lead. They are rather tag, corrupt and lazy.

Acquire to aspire what you desire when you perspire don't retire but continue to refire.
