DTube Daily Vlog | Photographing the beautiful neighbourhood

Spent some time just walking around Puerto De Santiago - the region of Tenerife my hotel is to take some photos of this beautiful place. The trip to the beach was great - did proper tourist things - but sometimes it’s just nice to low-key enjoy the neighbourhood you’re in.
The thing about this island is that the light is always so good, and everything is picturesque (to me anyway) - I’m sure the locals may not think so. To them, it’s just home. To me, it’s exotic and new.

Seriously, I can’t get over the view from the hotel. It’s not an infinity pool, but it looks like one from the restaurant area. I could have been happy just sitting there and working on my laptop all day :)

Sadly every good thing must end, so it's back to London now hehe.
But how lucky are we to be able to visit places like that with such a deep appreciation. You're right in saying that sometimes when its home you forget the value in how beautiful something can be. I hope you have a safe trip back. I've never been to London / or Europe at all but maybe in the future. I have two many new friends on that side of the world!

If I had put this video on YouTube, it would have been demonetised because I said the word "shoot". This is a common term amongst photographers, and it's a big problem on YouTube 🤷🏾♂️
