An Artful Day
Oh what a day!
I just made it back home from an epic art exhibition put on by my wonderful artist friend, Inma (whom I featured in my previous DTube Video). It was particularly special because I was one of models she painted for the exhibition.
The moment I stepped into the gallery, I was recognised by people and congratulated. It was sort of strange to be honest. I'm not really used to being the focus of so much attention.
The project is a collaboration between Inma and another great artist, Suzon. Many of her models were also there, so I spent a significant amount of the evening mixing with new people and having amazing conversations.
Apparently one of the other models, Fatima, is also into (analog) photography, so we had a lot to talk about.
Earlier in the day I met up with my good friend, and one of my favourite muses, Christy, for a catchup and a photoshoot. The shoot was planed for the South Bank near the Royal Festival Hall because we were going for the urban concrete jungle look.
The rain got the better of us and weren't able to complete the shoot, but I did get some usable shots I think. We spent most of the time chatting over tea/coffee and Empanadas.
Today has been the perfect day for me. So much art, and getting to hang out with two awesome friends on the same day.
