A bird perches on a man's palm in Venice, Italy

Now, this isn't a very common sight in nature. Birds naturally fear humans - and rightfully so. It's is part of their survival instinct. In order for the situation in the above photo to be possible, trust must have been established somehow between man and bird.

A new visitor takes up habitation on my friends farm as i was walking towards the shed on my friends farm i open the door to grab the bucket out of the shed and who do i find sleeping in this bucket a beautiful bearded dragon it scared me as much as i scared him but he seemed quite comfortable and friendly not to make any sudden moves or attacks towards me i gently gave him a few strokes on the head and we quickly become friends he even felt calm enough to have his picture taken without any fuss. Quite a good cool looking fella i have never seen one of these bearded dragons before till now. The kids fell in love with him as they do with all the animals they have on the farm so we decided to keep him around the kids named him Freddy as in Freddy Cougar because of his looks and today Freddy hangs around the house getting cared for and feed just like all there other pets. Trust can be gained just with a bit of kindness towards people or animals.

Freddy is a magnificent little beast. Very well captured.

I love this so much! I know this trust well too. When was that age, I would have jumped off a cliff if my dad or grandad asked me to. 100% trust :)

So true @adetorrent they were the fun days we are to big to do that now...lol !!

And much appreciate you choosing my photo :)

I captured this one when traveling in Iceland. No, I was not hiding in the bushes but got distracted by an insect on my way. ;) So I walked to the side and happened to see this lovely scene of TRUST! :) I feel lucky to have witnessed this beautiful moment at sunset.

Joint 3rd Place. Beautiful capture.

Thanks!😃 🙏

I had to chose between pigeons, butterflies, swans, wild goats and hedgehogs. I have decide to trust humans, also pretty uncomon for most of us. This was take in Pokahara Nepal and he had showed me the real meaning of flying and swirl.

Wow! How's the feeling when you are up there?

For me is blissful and quiet. No car noise, no other humans just me and the wind caressing my arm. Is the closest I get to magic 🍀

Wow. Great description.

This one is lovely ! I'm scared of the height so sure I would pee myself doing it T^T Mo

Joint 3rd Place!
This takes a LOT of trust. Not only in humans, but in the equipment. what if the parachute doesn't open?

First of it is not a parachute is a paragliding vail :) Different sensation as I tried both. Paragliding is more similar to a bird is not just going down in fast speed. Well there is always an option to die but I would prefer this end to be hit by a car on Roman Road (last options has 57%more chance to happen and that's way I choose to live my life trusting statistics 🤓🤓)

This locust had a very difficult choice. She had to choose whom she should trust. The choice was between me and the swallows that flew around and hunted locusts. Locusts chose me and did not want to leave my hand.

Joint 3rd Place!
I love scale of the locust and your hairs :)

:) Thank you very much!

If I trust the driver, I easily fall asleep on the seat while the vehicle is moving. So is this chicken. My son took him in his arms, after a minute he was asleep. He was warm and comfortable. When the chicken was released, he did not want to move away from my son.

Joint 3rd Place.
What a cute little creature. So vulnerable, it has no choice but to trust.

I love the cover photo for this contest. I have never had a wild bird sitting on my hand like this. However, I did establish some trust with a wild iguana in Mexico. These guys are very laid-back in general and they are usually not afraid of people at all but it still took several months to earn trust of this fella (we called him Ricky) to the point where he would let me handfeed him with hibiscus leaves, his favorite treat :) So yeah, that´s me handfeeding a large, wild-living Mexican iguana :D

It's cute that you guys named all those little creatures you met! I still remember your blue pet crayfish... how's that fella doing now? @liltammy :D

Claude is doing fine! (at least we hope - a friend of ours has ad him in custody :D)

Hi says hi to you Donica and asks you not to eat his brothers in restaurants :D

Lol... I don't eat dogs, but I did eat lots of his brothers and sisters.

Claude just told me he doesn´t like you :( :D

Nejkrasnejsi ;)

I love the standoff. The little guy is weighing you up haha.

Haha yeah but he really let me feed him :) Here is a proof. I would include this shot in my entry but I know just one photo is to be submitted ;)

We need to have trust in our little ones. They can do it by themselves. We just need to stand beside and give our full support and let them know we are there whenever they need us. ❤️❤️❤️
Doing it for them will not help them grow. This is a lesson I need to learn. Sometimes I must keep one of my eyes closed and let them go.

Trust is something that two people in a relationship can build together when they decide to trust each other. It is one of the most powerful and beautiful tools:)

That one being that one can trust the most in life can be just a...dog. A labrador retriever. He's the one in my mind now when thinking of trust.

Have a great day!

Cuteness overload;)

Indeed. He was seven months old back then.

What's his name?

Posted using Partiko Android

Look at that face :) So cute. However I'm sure he'll bark and try to bite me like all dogs seem to do haha.

He's not like that. He often runs at people and jumps on them to play like he would like to touch them and play like a child.
