Veda 24 / The Power Of Passive Income
#Veda day 24 everyone. In today's video I'm talking about the power of passive income to deliver financial freedom. YouTube is a great platform on which a lot of people have created a passive income stream.
I have another channel apart from this one that sends me a very small amount every month, but it pays for itself - because it it costs money to make those videos, I just about break even.
Larger channels, however, have the ability to replace a full time income, especially if that person lives somewhere inexpensive on the globe.
I have a friend who has done this, but it took a lot of work - even when he wasn't seeing any results. Today he's created multiple sources of passive income for himself, as well as still holding down a full time job. The difference now is he really loves his job.

Creating passive income is never risk free or easy, but’s sure awesome when you get it working for you! I don’t have the personality or drive to do video, but eventually I will find the right thing!
You're right. It also takes a lot of work.
Back in the day some writers also did it with books. This guy wrote dozens of self-help books for sale on Amazon print on demand haha.
That’s cool! Back in the day there were all kinds of ways to make money with content.
That's a good story. I would think the challenge in today's world would be evergreen content that doesn't get outdated. We have so much tech in our lives that you really would need to be intentional on the topics, etc. I love the idea though.
Yeah. Tech isn't evergreen for sure. 1-2 years max lifespan and you have to make an "update" video.
Well with as much time and energy I’ve put into this video making journey I’m on.... sure would be nice if all that effort made its way back to me passively! Like hearing this story of resilience and determination in the face of doubting peers.

Absolutely.
It's the dream! Hope I'll get to that point someday. Even little bits of passive income but multiple sources... Hopefully Steem will be one of them :-)
