I've been following Appics closely as well. It will be interesting to see how the launch effects the price of steem. Will the effect be immediate?? will a rise in steem value due to appics it be reliant on adoption? How does appics intend to gain users. these questions and many more.

I'm surprised to see Steem at $1.7 today though, I would have thought the excitement would have hand an effect by now.
Watching closely as well to see what happens in the next few days. Curious as to how many people really know and/or have a feel for what SMT really means and if there are very many early adopters to get on the SMT bandwagon.
I’m very excited if there will be any difference to the steem price at all with the ICO of APPICS within the next few weeks as there are no actual SMTs out yet. Your investment in steem will be now reserved in Etherum until the final lauch of Smart Media Tokes... My suggestion is that we’ll have to wait until that day for any significant price changes.
I don't know much about these things but I do know it's nice to have people around that can fill me in. Thanks for putting this on my radar.

One problem kind sir is that @appics is not on the STEEM blockchain. They are creating their own SMT blockchain.
