Weekly Curation Report by Team Millionaire -Week 3 January 2023

in Steem POD Teamlast year

Greetings fellow Steeminians.

It is a pleasure to come to share with all of you another week of our management as curators of the "Millionaire Team", a role that we fulfill with all the responsibility for the benefit of all the communities that promote good activities within the platform.

It has been a period of good news, starting by seeing the rebound of the value of Steem that so far has reached $0.22, on the other hand, we have seen new contests with good themes that are sure to be driving user participation, we also continue to enjoy the good dynamics that is lived through the challenge of communities. We as a team are destined to provide support in a fair way, always bearing in mind that we take into account the basic requirements shown in the curation guide, which highlights the following:

  • Be original, plagiarism of content is not accepted, information taken from the internet must be correctly referenced to the source.
  • Preferably you should be within the investment clubs, i.e. at least 50%, 75% or 100% of your rewards are transformed into Steem Power.
  • The content must be exclusive to Steemit
  • Users should not submit SP delegations in exchange for voting services.

In the following report we can observe the work carried out during the third week of January, there we share the performance of each day, in addition to the different users and communities that were supported by the "Millionaire Team", with a detailed summary that you can view on the sheet linked at the end of the post.

Without further ado, we present the summary of what was this period of curatorship of the Millionaire Team.

I have always known that the initiative that birthed the Team Millionaire would undoubtedly bring about the growth of quality contests over time and the effect is very evident now. I found a lot of ended contest articles during my curation such that I hardly curate many new ones before the account was fully utilized for the day.
This can be attributed to the rise of contests across the platform and the organizers are publishing the results before rolling out a new one. That being said, I curated more articles on my schedule than I have done in recent weeks and this is just perfect as we look forward to more quality contests on the platform.
I have just skipped a few contests based on noncompliance with the club initiative but the percentage is just infinitesimal as compared to the curated articles.

The growth of one of the platforms is triggered through contest activity and engagement from contest participants, I see this as an important factor that should be maintained.
In Week 3 with the Millionaires Team, I saw the contest organizers consistently publish their contests in innovative ways, as well as their contest participation rates. Personally, I suggest that it would be better if the contest organizers provide additional prizes such as Steem Power to the winners so as to encourage increased participant account strength.
The total curation that I did was 19 posts consisting of 6 posts belonging to 5050 clubs, 7 posts with 75 club status, while 6 other posts had 100 club status (1 vote for the curator). Of the 19 posts, Venezuela dominated with 8 votes.

January 13, 2023 was a good time for Organizing Day, which I supervised as a member of the Millionaire Team to vote and select the best Steemit-curated contests, as well as the best prize-winning entries.
This week witnessed very good numbers compared to the previous week, to obtain a respectable number of competitions and entries, which were estimated at 27 in total, of which 5 were comments and 10 were ignored for various reasons, such as lack of affiliation with the club or the lack of authenticity of the scheduled competition, in addition to the competitions presented of team members, which regulations prevent us from voting on.
In some club membership stats, we found 15 posts belong to club5050 vs 1 post last week, 5 posts related to club75 and 7 posts related to club100 were upvoted by 30%, 40% and 50% respectively with 5% added for supportive posts For the burnsteem25 campaign.

This Saturday has been very satisfying because I was able to find contests that have good themes, this will help users to be interested in participating generating more activity on the platform. On the other hand, I was able to support the winners of contests that showed good content, especially those related to recycling where they showed good creativity, I also had the pleasure of supporting good comments during this day. In total there were 15 publications supported as I found myself with a low VP at the time of starting my curation day.

I've been curating for the second week of the month. And it is a very valuable opportunity for me. I curated with heart and love. I am satisfied with the curation that I have done. I hereby assist the contest organizer. The contest can improve the quality of content in Steemit. The team consists of great and committed Steemians. I learned a lot from them. And it is an opportunity for me to continue to learn from them.
I curated with love and hearth. I feel more flexible in using curated accounts. And I've adapted to Team rules. On Sunday, January 08, 2023, via my Steemcurator03 account, I voted on 21 posts, consisting of 11 contest posts and 10 contest winner posts. I've also voted on 3 quality comments that match the theme of the post.

This week, I can curate different ongoing contests on the Steam platform. They are very creative and unique, as well as having equal rights for all users to participate in each contest just by following the basic rules and regulations. So happy to see those contests, today I curated contest announcements, winner announcement posts, and some winning posts too.
Overral I curate up to 22 posts and 12 valuable comments on my curation day.

Tuesday 17/01/2023: @franyeligonzalez
This third week of work I was able to vote for 28 quality publications, mostly for contest winners' announcements, but I also got contests with good themes and interesting for the platform's users. I consider that despite the activation of the challenges, the communities and users are still active creating different content.
Most of the publications were from #club5050. I was also able to vote 10 quality comments, more and more comments we can get that are worthwhile and it is noticeable that the user read the post. I think this was also a good week for the whole team, we keep working to give our best.

As requested by the Steemit team, we present the 7 publications of the week, which were considered for the quality of their content and presentation.

Top 7 Selected Publications Of The Week

Selection N° 1:

Post: Concurso: SV Creativo #10 / Origami. / Author: @hive-193637 / Status Club: #Club75
Selected by: @fredquantum
Opinion: The curated contest article on my scheduled day was an ingenuine one and cannot be considered for the top spot.
With the opportunity given by the team to make my nomination from another day, I found a community contest that is all about making Origami. This type of contest is one of the ways to foster users' creativity as others tend to learn even more from the output as such it was picked to take a spot for this week.

Selection N° 2:

Post: New Contest ; What does Steemit mean to you? / Author: @liasteem / Status Club: #Club100
Selected by: @irawandedy
Opinion: Knowing the basics of the platform is the most important part for growing a sense of belonging and developing it, producing the best work and staying focused on the ultimate goal, namely maintaining the steem ecosystem.
I saw a contest called "What does Steemit mean to you?" as a contest that deserves the best place so I chose it as one of the Top Posts in week 3 Millionaires Team.
Contest participants are given the freedom to write according to the general framework in the context of the story and the meaning that can be drawn from their journey while on the platform.
The story will inspire other users about the process of the results obtained, not just seeing the end result.

Selection N° 3:

Post: Concurso: "La Magia de la Ilusión" // Contest: "The Magic of Illusion" / Author: @ciru2014 / Status Club: #Club75
Selected by: @kouba01
Opinion: The idea of the competition is original because it takes us out of reality and tries to bring us into the world of imagination through the magic of illusion. The contest organizer asked us to mention the illusion we feel about anything in life, describing how you would feel if it came true. Good luck to all participants.

Selection N° 4:

Post: 📢 Contest - About Your Steemit Journey / Phase-1 / Author: @ripon0630 / Status Club: #Club100
Selected by: @adeljose
Opinion: The contest that I have selected provides a good opportunity to get to know even more the users who will be able to share with us their experiences within the platform, in addition, it will allow us to know some strategies that are implemented at the time of wanting to develop content, for sure we will see good participations and very interesting material to read.

Selection N° 5:

Post: Coti-challenge: Uno de mis talentos es... / Author: @soywilfredg / Status Club: #Club5050
Selected by: @nadiaturrina
Opinion: It is a good contest idea. The Contest Organizer has a special hashtag that refers to the contest, so the organizer can easily find participating posts, clear contest rules, and prizes to distribute. And most importantly, the organizers of the competition pay attention to the authenticity of the participant's posts.
Steemit is a place to share knowledge and skills. This contest will bring someone together with someone else who has the same talent. It will make the bond between Steemian closer. And this contest invites us to show one of the talents we have mastered.

Selection N° 6:

Post: Concurso: Mi Desayuno Favorito. / Author: @heedysguevara / Status Club: #Club5050
Selected by: @lavanyalakshman
Opinion: Participating in this contest is very simple; just sharing our favourite breakfast recipe and pictures is enough.
For participation, just having any club status and giving original content is enough. not having any other rules and regulations here. It attracts me a lot.
At the same time, the top two winners get booming support. It's looking like a good deal to me. That's why I chose this contest as one of the best on my curation day.

Selection N° 7:

Post: 26º Concurso sobre Valores. / "Elegancia". / Author: @hive-181136 / Status Club: #Club5050
Selected by: @franyeligonzalez
Opinion: This is a contest that brings something to both users and the platform, it is a contest to create awareness of many things, values today have been lost and they are the ones that govern our way of being and doing things. I think it is interesting that every week we can express our opinion about a value, the values in our lives are of great relevance, they are the ones that indicate the quality of person we are.
In addition, it is a contest that is well accepted by Steemit users and the community, as we can see it has several very interesting entries. We are presented with a good introduction, good layout, clear rules and excellent prizes for the contestants.

This concludes our third Millionaire Team curation report for the month of January. We reiterate our thanks to the Steemit team for giving us the opportunity to support good content.
