Welcome to #steem-cartoon@adelepazani ... love black and red combination... you combined your decorative elements with your drawing really well... beautiful...
Hi @adelepazani, just discovered your artwork for the first time and it reminds me of the style similar to vermillionfox (using two different colours in line drawing/sketches) but also very different (in the style and impression). I love the incorporation of various symoblism, perhaps you can explain some of them?
Hi @plushzilla Thank you ,
elements i used , is a traditional symbol and a role that has always been considered in the history of traditional Iranian arts , and in decoration of all kinds of handicrafts, in particular cloth, carpet and clay, pottery tiles, shalefi, textile, Khatam ..etc , in many sizes and shapes .
Does it relate to a cultural, religious or historical aspect of the Iranian tradition? I must admit I am not very familiar with art from this region despite its long history... but happy that you have introduced something so beautiful and intriguing to me :) Looking forward to your future posts.
Very beautiful drawing, you managed to give her a strong expression in her face, very powerful eyes and a hint of anger. Red is the color to draw the viewer's attention, related to strong feelings like love and anger.
I really like the detailed patterns in her scarf & hair, very intricate! If you'd like take a look at an older post of mine, in which you might find some similarities.
