I Love Me!!

How does love work? Can I love myself? Do people really love me? Do I love people around me? Do I love myself? Do I love God? Does God really love me?.........🤔🤔

I have seen people who for the sake of others neglected themselves, they care less about their own health and future all in the name of loving others around them. And of course there are people who for the sake of themselves refuses to help others around them, they made sure all is to their favour and their use alone.

This life is full of questions, some of which the answer lies in our hands. But to answer one of the questions popping up in your mind daily, I will like to tell you this....YES! YOU CAN LOVE YOU! of course, I CAN LOVE ME!

What do you think am saying here? I have to love people around me and be of help when it is within my reach and capability. I need to be a good samaritan and a lover of all.....but is it really possible to show love to others WHEN you DON'T love yourself???

Charity, they say begins at home. To love others is to first love yourself, if the love has to be sincere. Loving yourself is not pride, not selfishness, not ego. To love yourself does not mean you should be self-centered. What it means is that you appreciate yourself,
encourage Yourself, understand yourself, respect yourself. Appreciate the talent and gift in you, encourage Yourself to do that great task you think you cannot do, believe in yourself even when others don't seem to believe in you.

To love you is to love your stature, love your looks and appearance, love your gifts, love your strength and weakness. To see nothing good in yourself but only in others is inferiority complex. To believe you can do nothing while others are doing it is nothing but low self esteem. It's also good we don't take it to the extreme of pride,superiority complex and ego. The point am trying to make here is that your love and help for others is not genuine and sincere if you don't love yourself. You can appreciate others out of low self esteem and that is not healthy.

The first person to love is God! The next person to love is YOURSELF! Do you love YOU? That's a question I urge you to answer today, if yes, keep it up and if no, make ammendments. As for me, I truly LOVE ME!
