Introducing myself - It's about time

Hey Guys! So I thought it was about time I introduced myself here on Steemit, soooo...... Here we go.

My name is Adelaide Daines (I go by Addie most of the time). I have tried out many different passions in my life; Swimming, hip hop, ballet, gymnastics, painting, music, and photography. Let's just say I've always needed a way to express myself haha.

I still enjoy doing some of those things, but the "hobbies" that stuck around and became more of a career, have been music and photography. I got very blessed with the people that have been placed in my life. I started writing music when I was 15 years old (and of course immediately started posting cringe worthy videos on youtube). Long story short, my cousin reposted one of the videos and his good friend who was an audio engineer saw it and reached out to me. I'll never forget the first skype session when he and another talented musician asked if I wanted to start a band.... I was THRILLED.

So I packed all my things when I was 18 and moved 2 hours away from where I had grown up. It was scary, yet exciting. The band only lasted about one year, but we all separated on good terms and are still very good friends.
Here I am three years later, and am still singing and playing my heart out. I'm currently working on my first EP as we speak and can't wait to release more music to the public.

My love for photography started a little later on, when I found my dads old film camera lying around the house. I started out with a "fashion" blog, which I had currently been studying at a Technology College, while attending my highschool part time. As a child I would design these little outfits on paper and cut them out, hoping someday I'd be able to wear them in real life. Let's just say now a days, I love more than anything to just be dressed in sweats lol. I still love fashion and ended up graduating with a degree in fashion merchandising, but I've yet to do anything with that certificate. My main focus in photography is photographing weddings, engagements, bridals, and portraits. I love doing it, but every career has it's ups and downs which I have definitely experienced. Running your own business is challenging, but so rewarding.

I love cook books, not really sure why though, because I honestly HATE to cook haha. I think just how gorgeous food looks on a well laid out page in a stunning book, ya know? All those vegan meals pulled together so nicely just draws me in.

My favorite song to belt to in the car is Evermore, from beauty and the beast (I'm a bit of a Disney freak, it's fine).
