Wet N Wild - "Hooked On Vinyl" Tutorial
Hi everyone!! I hope your Thursday is going great!! Caleb's on a field trip at summer camp today so he's super pumped. They are going to the Studio Movie Grill to eat lunch while they watch the new Incredibles 2 movie. I am so jealous, I really wanted to take him to see the movie....well I actually want to see the movie the most, to be honest. ;)
Well, enough about me, let's talk Wet N Wild makeup. Today I am showing off how I used the Hooked on Vinyl pallet. Let me know what you think.
First off let's take color A in the crease with a fluffy brush
Take color D and sweep in into the outer V and work it up into the crease, staying below the first color you put in your crease.
Next you will want to sweep color B onto the brow bone for some highlight.
This next step requires some setting spray. With a flat brush get some of the C color on your brush and squirt it with setting spray. Pack this all over lid.
Next take color D and pat it in the middle of the lid, over color C. The reason for this is to allow the blue and brown to blend together and make a transition of color from blue to brown.
Next I used NYX Faux Black liner in Midnight, which is just a dark blue pencil liner, in my lower water line.
I used color D to smudge it all out with.
Back with the setting spray and a small angled brush. Get some of color D on the angle brush, spray it down with setting spray and run it along the top lash line.
**Shocked that I am not using a black liquid liner? I am too!! I don't know what has come over me. :) **
Next you will want to finish with mascara but because my photo skills are completely null, I didn't get a good photo of it. So just know that now is the time for mascara.
Apply your blush. I used Milani's Blossomtime Rose
I did a cocktail of a lip today. I first used the Revlon HD liquid matte lipstick in HD Flare and then topped it with Hard Candy gloss in Hibiscus. The Revlon was too dark and Hard Candy was too light....so I just combined them to get the look I have here. :)
Well, that does complete my look. I am not sure on how I feel about this pallet. I want to try to get at least one more look from it, but I'm having a hard time not getting the same look as I have just done. It's almost like my options are a bit limited, and I don't like that in a pallet. I want to be able to use it more than one way. But I will keep trying anyways.
So that's all the makeup I have for today. Let me know what you thought. Do you own this little pallet? What do you think of it?
I guess I will see you all again tomorrow. Until next time, take care.
