Eyeshadow tutorial using Wet N Wild trios (affordable)
Today I am bringing you another eyeshadow tutorial using two of the Wet N Wild Trios. They are both easily found at the drugstore and in North Texas they can be purchased for $2.98 each, which in makeup talk that equals EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!! :)
The two I used were Walking on Egg Shells and I'm Getting Sunburned.
In the collage below I have numbered the colors somewhat to help you get a better idea of where the shadows will go on your eyes. In hopes, of course, it will be easier to understand my directions. But enough chatter, lets do makeup!!
First up, take the light cream shade marked #1 use it right under your brow bone, this will give the illusion of a more lifted eye. Take the shade #2 and use a fluffy brush to put that in your crease, blending, blending, blending. Next you will want to take a smaller brush with a more defined tip and use it with color #3 on the outer "V" of your eye and blend it inwards. If you need to smooth it out a little on the edges you can go back with your fluffy blending brush to to this with. Take a flat brush and use color marked #4 and pack it on your lid, blending it over towards the darker outer "V" color. #5 take the light cream shade (one you used on the brow bone) and just pop it in your inner corner of your eye, this will give you a brighter look. Lastly, take color #2 and #3 with a pointed brush and tap the brush in one color and then in the next and run that along the lower lash line. And that's all there is for the eyeshadows.
I followed it all up with black pencil liner on the inner lower rim of my eye, black liquid liner on the top, faux lashes and some mascara and that was the completed eye look. To complete the makeup I used a Milani's baked blush in Berry Amore on the cheeks and a Revlon Kiss balm in Fresh Strawberry on my lips.
Aaand what's blog post without showing off my sweet angel, Caleb? Plus this is what the completed tutorial looks like.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. If you have any tutorial request using affordable makeup, please let me know.
