6 Years Without Alcohol Today! 🎉

I normally write a bit more on this day, but I'm still not supposed to type a lot and I wrote a longer post earlier today* about why Steemit is so awesome, so I'll keep it short. Today marks 6 years since I had a drink of alcohol. 6 years without a hangover. 6 years without a blackout. 6 years of one day at a time. I'm not writing this out of pride, I'm writing this so the person with 6 days or 6 weeks or 6 months of sobriety knows it's possible. Thanks to everyone who's been a part of my journey ❤

"Gratitude" - 8 x 8 inches - Acrylic on stretched canvas - This was a commission for a friend.

I called it that because the circle with the triangle in it is a symbol for recovery from alcohol addiction, and I am grateful because my own sobriety allows me to make these paintings!
