A Trip Through Kananaskis

Had a day off Tuesday so my wife and I decided to go for a drive through Kananaskis and take some photos.
It was a gorgeous day out!

Entering Kananaskis on Highway 40 heading east.

First stop was Barrier Lake. I have never seen the water level so low. There is still lots of snow in the mountains and they were not sure how much run off they would get so they lowered the lake level.

This is the eastern part of Barrier Lake and this is usually covered with water.

End of the line!

Nothing to do but to head back west.
Here is a couple of Rocky Mountain Sheep. Love these guys!
