Actifit Daily #76: Steemit Issue. Payments. Competition Launched. Abuse and much more

This daily update represents a compilation of the recent news, updates and projections about our Actifit project, including top actifitters for the preceding voting cycle, as well as updates on our account and delegations !

Steemit Issue and Payments

Yesterday we missed sending out an update due to, as many are already aware, the issue that took place with the Steem blockchain, causing a halt on all activity.
We are happy the issue was officially resolved and we are back on track!

Gladly, we were able to process our weekly STEEM payments to our delegators right before the Steem blockchain issue occurred. Delegators, in addition to their daily AFIT token rewards, are sharing a 5% beneficiary reward from Actifit posts.
The payout consisted of 51.565 STEEM sent out to 233 delegators (compared to 44.638 STEEM sent out to 201 delegators the prior week).
The halt in the blockchain had no effect on our delegator payments in AFIT tokens either, which were successfully processed yesterday and today.

The only issue we faced due to Steem halt, and probably every other dapp, is the inability of users to post their activity. This reflected on many users losing a potential reward for their tracked activity for the past day, which unfortunately is beyond our control.
Anyhow, we are quite excited with what's coming with HF20.

Actifit Fitness Competition: Plank your way to 10,000 AFIT tokens

Earlier today, and along the lines of our aim to promote healthy and fit lifestyle, we launched the first fitness competition officially hosted by Actifit, whereby we are looking to reward 15,000 AFIT tokens and upvotes to the winners.
The competition involves attempting to record a single video, as a post, of you performing the plank exercise for the longest period possible.
The top winner will be eligible for 10,000 AFIT tokens, as well as 100% upvote from @actifit account.

Abusers Posts Hidden

As we have reported in the last few updates, we have been targeting abusers and attempting to combat their abusive posts and spamming approach, and we caught a large chain of abusive accounts, which lead to the increase of banned accounts to over 50.
In line with this, we implemented a modification to our official website coding, so as posts from such abusers will no longer show at actifit.io.
While this doesn't affect their visibility on Steemit.com or other interfaces, yet in the future we are considering implementing further constraints, according to ban level, to even prevent such abusers from posting via the app to the blockchain.

Top Token Holders

As of today, we have officially distributed more than 6.8 Million AFIT tokens, to 21K+ token holders, and rewarded more than 11K Activity reports.

Yesterday we had started our rewarding session right before the Steem blockchain halted, which resulted in only few actifitters getting rewarded back then.
Today's rewards session had to pick up posts which were 2 days old, to compensate for the ones that were missed. We had a total of 352 contributions with successful proof of activity.
Below is the breakdown of post count by activity:

Delegators share a max cap of 100K AFIT tokens according to their delegation amount, and also earn a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts' beneficiary earnings.

Since many ask, here we describe again an easy way to calculate your AFIT tokens for a full day of delegations:
(Your Delegated SP) * 100,000 AFIT MAX / (Actifit Account Delegated SP - without account own SP and any delegators who opted out).
So for instance if you had delegated 100 SP, your daily earnings would be around:
100 * 100,000 / 135,000 = 74 AFITs

We are always appreciative of more delegations to be able to better award actifitters and support our project, so thank you for doing that !

When you are looking to increase your delegation, you need to use the new total amount as the delegation amount, and not only the increased amount. Otherwise only the new amount will be used, and the remaining amount will be undelegated.
