A giant Hibiscus!

During my walk today I passed a garden and could almost not believe my eyes! A beautiful flower of the giant Hibiscus was shining at me and fascinated me with its bright pink colour.

I have never seen such a big Hibiscus flower. I estimate the diameter to be at least 20 cm.

In the same garden I also saw a field of coneflower, also a flower I love very much.

This afternoon I went for a walk of about 8 km in bright sunshine and with a strong wind.

Bei meinem heutigen Spaziergang ging ich an einem Garten vorbei und traute kaum meinen Augen! Eine wunderschöne Blüte des Riesen Hibiscus strahlte mich an und zog mich mit ihrer leuchtenden Pinkfarbe in den Bann.

Noch nie sah ich solch eine große Hibiscus Blüte. Ich schätze den Durchmesser auf mindestens 20 cm.

Im selben Garten sah ich auch ein Feld vom Sonnenhut, ebenfalls eine Blume, die ich sehr liebe.

Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und heftigem Wind ging ich heute Nachmittag 8 km spazieren.
