WOW my EOS is staked in bandwidth & my CPU using Jesta's greymass EOS voter tool & this just blows my mind! I was always wondering what the EOS desktop wallet would look like! As I tried to explain to EVERYONE, it will be JUST like Steem/Vessel but more!

Here is a quick screenshot of Grey Mass EOS-voter 0.1,5 https://github.com/greymass/eos-voter/releases which you can actually use to vote with your eos private key, and EOS tokens are frozen anyway as the main net boots so you can't make transfers anyway so that's the way I get around any potential scare of loosing your keys. Most people will not trust some random wallet from a person theyve never heard of but we know @jesta is a top steem witness and since we trust him with @vessel steem wallet I think I can trust him with EOS!

So this EOS staking allows you to stake over your CPU or Bandwidth. The idea that EOS can use your CPU Ram and Bandwidth is just so cool, and I understand only large block producers are going to be lending their ram and CPU out into the network, but we need more infographics to explain just how the EOS virtual machine super computer works in comparison to Ethereum which could never really do what EOS can. Even still I could think of many use cases for Ethereum even if it is slow, and it really doesn't need to scale if it is simply used by Banks or Governments or large institutions, while EOS will be the open free chain that is not restricted to just a few transactions a second like Ethereum, which can still be very useful but it will be more like an old compute system that the government might use because it is so slow and old and simple that they can be sure to keep it safe, maybe Ethereum will be useful the way a modern journalist finds a typewriter useful when not wanting to be spied on or risk being hacked. When someone uses an old dumb phone to make phone calls and texts, it makes it impossible to hack in the way android phones can be hacked, and this example I use to explain how Ethereum may still be useful in small limited use cases even if EOS will be able to do everything better than it, the same way an old dumb cell phone without any real software or operating system is going to be impossible to hack the same way as an android because there is almost nothing TO hack.

EOS evolution will change many lives for such... I want it the to rise, i have intention to help many infividual in africa... To eradicate poverty.

Thanks for this info..
How did you stake it?

It came pre staked :D the main net has most of ur tokens auto staked,

anyway the staking wont give the same sorts of rewards as you get on steem ithink we will be leasing our eos pwoer like leasing steempower, i think thats how MUCH peopel will be making money, with only top 20 block producers getting block rewards with maybe the backups getting to share a tiny bit of a percent of the rewards etc

anyway yeah i saw a few EOS africa groups in the block producer candidate list! you should really get yourself to become a sort of EOS Ghana rep create oit! create EOS ghana and just create a plan to make an EOS token since eos will be ready to make tokens with BEFORE SMTs so you may as well create an EOS token that peopel can buy to help eradicate poverty, eveb if you have to use a new eos social media @eossocial and @onosocial and all the eos social media platforms are going to be incredible to work with and since you already have experience with steem you can slide right into this new world of DPOS with smart contracts, EOS will need peopel from ethereum and people from Steem to help them understand how this all works!

The layout of that wallet looks sweet. T'm going to check it out myself now.

You are doing amazing work for the Steem and EOS community. Thanks for sharing your journey brotha.

hell yes the wallet is as beautiful as @vessel by @jesta and since eos names are being bid on and you have to pay a lil 0.001 eos or whatever to buy eos names, I bet @jesta will have the next version of the greymass able to create eos accounts and pick names with a special tool to even transfer all your eos from the old erc20 accounts to your new account :)

EOS is really great technolgy platform and changing blockchain perspective in market.

EOS is just getting Wow and amazing every blessed day. Thanks for the information

Really congratulations brother and it's reflecting as really effective Stake which you hold. Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

I’m still trying to figure out .... so what are you able to do with the bandwidth or ram we recieve for staking ??? Can we sell that ? And how with in the wallet ? I still haven’t exported I’ve been waiting for the dust to settle
