So I have been thinking about the potental for Steem blockchain based gaming Dapps especially ones that either run on a android/iOS app or which can run in a browser and play on a mobile phone nicely. These sorts of Mobile Apps that allow users to login with Steem Accounts will become far more popular than cryptokitties and they will work much better and smoother since steem won't lag and freeze up and become expensive to make a game move like Ethereum is. I am SO excited about @steemmonsters and all the new Blockchain Games because I see the possibilities of combining steem monsters with pokemon go and getting the next big mobile gaming app. I am so happy that @aggroed and @yabapmatt have combined effort to give us this amazing STEEM MONSTERS game https://steemmonsters.com which shows us all how a Steem Blockchain based game can work, and shows us how profitable it can be with thge game raising over 3100 Steem or $14,000+ in just a few days!
This success of this first Steem Blockchain Card game is a GREAT sign! we should ALL be developing Steem based games and Apps! My mind is racing with ideas for developing a Ether Shrimp Farm CLone... we need cryptokittioes for steem we need a Steem FISH or OCEAN farm YES YES

Did you know @steemmonsters card game will put the profit from the game into tournaments? Having tournaments for the Steem Monsters game will help build out the games infrastructure and provide incentive to play and "get good" AND they will be tradable and you will be able to buy and sell them in the future, and most likely for a profit as they can be put into a team which can earn you money in a tournament! These games are taking over the internet and @mughat and I were discussing how this will become HUGE for crypto as soon as someone mixes an addictive game like this with crypto and a mobile app and allows for the sort of sim city or farmvile like city or town building present in older RTS games. This could become an extremely fun addictive and SMOOTh game, much faster than cryptokitties which was built on the laggy slow ethereum blockchain which was never meant for the sorts of levels of activities these games can generate. Only Steem and EOS will be able to handle the large scale gaming Daqpps like this! ust wait for how big Steem Monsters and other steem games become...Imagine having a Starcraft like RTS type game built on the Steem Blockchain.... Imagine a mobile app which let's you login using the posting key of a steem account and then gives you a simple front end where you can buy or earn items and characters with everything registered over the steem blockchain. Your game account can be authorized to make posts for you as you play so that everytime you unlock an achievement or level up your character your game can make a post about it and allow you to customize it with some text and maybe a front facing camera picture combined with some automatic filtering and effects to put your face into the game, allowing for very funny automated steem posts that can earn users extra money they can use for more in game items or features.
We will have users able to buy their way into the game or earn their way up, with special items being either found or purchased, and a whole in game economy can be grown with all sorts of cool weapons and items and special things scattered throughout the game, and I just LOVE the way we can make ANY mobile app into a STEEM based game! Sure some mobile games may not work well with steem but others seem PERFECT for steem! For example the very popular game HearthStone is played on mobile phones on an app and is just a glorified card game with visual effects and to integrate this into Steem Blockchain can be done in many ways and can actually be very FUN for MANY people and I KNOW @disregardfiat could probably find a team to turn his Project https://Dlux.io steem VR into a Game version!
There are so many new games for blockchain and here is just another one Ether Shrimp Farm which shows how people are INSANE and will buy Ethereum based DIGITAL Shrimp EGGS not even SHRIMP but Shrimp EGGS not real ones but DIGITAL shrimp eggs :D So you see, there are people paying $1 for expensive ethereum transactions! So let us at LEAST teach them to use STEEM for $0 transaction fees! We need STEEM Shrimp Farm! I realize the Shrimp farm is just a simple PROF OF CONCEPT and no one owns the copyright on Shrimp, so let us try to make a STEEM FISH farm :D yes let us be tasteful and not just copy this idea completely no we will change it to a FISH farm which goes well with steem fashion of having minnows, dolphins, whales, etc, so now this will be PERFECT! Who wants to help me build a Steem Fish Farm idle game and just copy the ethereum shrimp farm but make it built on steem and just use the system that steemmonsters uses to accept steem and have our own database controlling the fish eggs and the fish and you have to buy the fish and the eggs with steem/sbd and this game SHOULD take off like the ether shrimp farm :D I cannot WAIt to make a STeem Clone of the Ether Shrimp farm but for FISH minnows dolphins whales etc, omg it will be so fun! Whose with me? I will start saving to pay a developer, but I have friends who have funds to hire someone IF you can show us a proof of concept! :D so exciting thinking about Steem based games!

In my opinion:
We all saw the success that facebook had when it started to implement games on his platform !! and how users began to register massively just for wanting to play. The same could happen with the games in steemit, and this is the first, this game will be the start of many other games in the Steem blockchain.
We could also see that the cryptokitties were successful! I see this game as a future, besides being very similar to Yu-Gi-Oh, which I used to play when I was little!
So I already register and buy my first batch of cards and guess what! I got 2 epic letters. For sure they will be very strong, my favorite is The Defender of the truh
With 2 epic cards and more than 40 cards, I'm ready! just waiting for the game to come out
We WILL have yugiho style tournaments in 3d ipfs vr worlds to play the card games in thanks to @disregardfiat and his Project @dlux-io dlux.io and duuuude omg we will TOTALLY have holographic GIF shiney cards and we will have MANY features like EGGS and GROWING NEW monsters and breeding them like cryptokitties or Ether Shrimp Farm except instead of just an idle game we can battle with them and we can show the world that spending costly gas transactions for ethereum to play a game may seem cool at first but becomes old and on steem we can put in our OWN transaction fees of people WANT them LOL but we get to save SO much money by NOT having fees on our transactions so Our STEEM based games will have SO much more freedom!
also we will get to have BLOG POSTS about our Monsters so when you use the Steem Monster FRONT end that will SURELY be built in the future, we will get to allow players to have automated posts generated when they reach certain achievements and it will be stamped with a qr code of approval so these types of posts cant be faked it will all be on the blockchain u will be able to use your COMMENTS and POSTINg key as the key to these games like the POCKET tokens
DARE I SAY @biophill and his POCKET tokens now have a SUPREME purpose and NEW life?? Pocket tokens plus STEEM monsters = Steem POCKET monsters OOOH its PERFECT we can use pocket tokens as the in game currency to purchase Steem Balls to capture our steem pocket monster and we can use them to buy the rare candies and items in our game!!!!
Just need to market this stuff to 4chan as well. They love these types of games and they will provide free marketing themselves by promoting it on reddit and other social media websites.
it is promising in the future what can be achieved by combining steem games with other applications, I am meeting to buy the steem monster startet pack, it's a shame that in my country it is not so easy to get that amount, but if I work in a week I do
