This is from the Steem White paper and I finally understand how it really IS like a steem engine/pump and that is NOT just some silly metaphor

Steem Pumps were the first machine of the industrial revolution (along with textile factories powered by water wheels) but the Steem Pump allowed water to be pumped out of mines so coal could be brought up which could power more steem pumps and then get more coal and so on and so on

This really IS how Steem Blockchain works!!! It really IS like a Steem Engine!

Remember, Steem Engines and the steem PUMP actually was the FIRST machine of the industrial revolution, it allowed water to be pumped out of mines so coal could be brought up and out!

And @mughat was just discussing steem backed dollars (SBD) on http://steemspeak.com discord 24/7 steem/golos chat, and @mughat explained how sbd will always go back to $1 and yes it goes below sometimes but the mechanism and the stee, rewards allows it to balance itself out, and @fyrstikken was talking about how we should all SELL our SBD to people who are looking to get into Crypto! People want to buy Bitcoin but they can buy SBD and then use that to buy Bitcoin or ANY altcoin! This steem engine pump seems like the perfect metaphor for steem

Now to show you some beautiful pictures of a place in Bolivia called Solar de Uyuni! Salt Flats with a thin layer of water stretching acros making a gigantic ground mirror effect! reflecting the clouds in tehd ay or the stars and milky way at night onto the ground! (and down there you can actually see the center of the milkyway galaxy which you can't ever see from anywhere in the norther hemisphere ever perid. you HAVE to go to the equator or below.

@fyrstikken was planning on a Steem FIESTA in south america in 2018 and I want to have 1 night be down in Bolivia at Solar de Uyuni!

This is looks like an amazing place to make a documentary for steem and to make movies TV shows episodes reality TV etc etc

we went to Le stats in Hillcrest San Diego where they have a Bitcoin ATM that is open 24. 7!

here is me at the Local BTC ATM at LEstat's Hillcrest San Diego, CA and Bitcoin is $9k already here!

and you can buy up to $99,999 at a time! and you can SELL a lot too (but sell was temporarily un available so p[people must be selling more than they buy at this particular machine because other customers are able to fill the BTC ATM up, maybe they dont work that way but they SHOULD! we should ALSO allow ANYONE to sell their BTC to the BTC ATM and then list at like CONSIGNMENT! Imagine you come to this BTC ATM and you pick up money from BTC it sells for you at a price you choose!

I showed @frankbacon the tropical backyard where my treehouse is at, here is me tending to my Piper Arboretum which had kava kava kavalactones and saffrole oil *precursor to MDA (Which i do need to plant in the ground tomorrow)

and we also saw this strange sign, a key hanging from a digital parking meter ! someone had lost they key and someone else had actually put it there in case someone came back looking for it! Wow this has so much symbolism i it for crypto and trust-less society with steemit!
