Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This is my downtown area...
a part of the city where I am most familiar with
Where the Kuala Lumpur City Centre or better known as KLCC - shopping mall and twin towers icon sits
Also, currently one of the areas of the city most densely populated with skyscrapers!
Chock-a-block with buildings
Not too happy with that...
I cropped it close
All buildings, right...?!!
Did a HDR to bring up the clouds which were already there
Gave it a lomo to enhance the buildings
Put it through some orton to add some dreariness
Boosted to get better definition
Infra-red it to lighten
Slight softness to add the dreariness and 'haze'
...and maybe some other effects...
Without... looking too artificial
The effect I wanted was a hint at post-holocaust without
killing the entire city
You tell me...

I love this! Usually the only photos I see of KL are the Petronas Towers. It's nice to see the them in context with the rest of the skyline. Beautiful edit too.

@ackhoo Sis, did you know that Kuala Lumpur is one of the cities with the most skyscrapers in the world? According to the latest survey, KL is currently on the 20th place :)
