And a new day is born...

Nothing more exhilarating than watching the start of a new day! 🌞

The brightening of the sky... and of your surroundings...
And then the moment when you actually see the sun peeping above the horizon - with nothing obscuring it!

I am posting this for #SunThursday initiated by @uwelang and hosted by @lizanomadsoul

Caught the moment when the sun made an appearance...
Just a peek... above the horizon, which here happens to be some mountains in the distance
The sky had already made the 'announcement' to herald the coming of the sun... - clouds above were already aflame with the glow of a new day
Then.... a peep...

Just three minutes later, the sun is fully above the land
Warming the surroundings whilst the sky and clouds above are still reflecting the fiery event
And a new day is born...
