Shitpost

in #humor5 years ago

As I mentioned recently I'd enjoy sharing and posting whatever nowadays that we have the steem.dao and don't have to be as careful with being seen as rewardpool abusers while at the same time not having to decline rewards and wreck the autovoters who curate my other posts. I'm gonna start doing some "shitposts" where I share some of my favorite content I stumbled upon that day and maybe add another meaning/title to it in case it makes it funnier although most of the time it probably won't. Anyway, feel free to downvote if you think this is stupid but maybe it's something that may get more engagement than the usual long posts we like to reward.

Since Reddit is still one of the most fun platforms for shared content from all over the internet most of the stuff I share will be from there but I'll be uploading them onto youtube for easier viewing here in the post as they make it impossible to share videos from Reddit. These are not monetized or anything nor do I get anything out of having a lot of views on my account as I'm never going to monetize it.

First one is this wholesome video where a cop gives someone a ticket for public intoxication/drinking in public even though it looks like everyone is doing it so it just seems like he's being an ass about it. Watch what happens in the rest of the video and imagine how much more smoothly this will go in a cashless future.

This one was just funny how different the two cats are and most people love cats and we need more funny cat videos on Steem, so here you go. I like to compare them to Steemians where one is creating original content and getting curated while the other is just creating content to purchase bid bots and trying to profit off of the reward pool. :3

This is when they realize they gotta provide quality content and some effort to get rewarded now.

This one is dedicated to those seeking "shields" from downvotes on their bid botted shitposts from even worse abusers, I'm sure you guys know who we talking about here. ;)

Same as above.

Lastly, this one is dedicated to when we are done with the bid bot shit and start moving into the voting rings. Reminded me at how they'll react when you attempt to break them off. :p

Anyway, let me know what you think of these posts, I'd share the source but no one on Reddit ever does so no point sharing the Reddit sources really, it'll just get them more traffic and since that's all they care about considering how difficult they make it to share videos from their website (you have to share the whole thread and anyone visiting has to load up all the comments on top of the video, etc) so on second thought...

PS. Anyone have a better idea for a title?

Sort:

@acidyo's Vapid Vids, is the best I got on short notice. Also, they're weirdly spot on. The last one made me uber uncomfortable. This is also different, but kinda what @mlicata8802 is into. Big reddit guy.

Big reddit guy.

Oh yeah? I bet he doesn't have more karma than me! xD

Cool title idea though, will consider it. :D

I think fun casual posts are great.

that doesn't mean they should get to trending or be bidbotted.

I think people having to stress over whether or not their post is good enough is over all a bad thing for adoption. :)

LOL.

title suggestion: Fun times!

Just do what all the god damn redditor youtubers do as of late. " Top 10 Sexy reddit sexiness sex posts" Works every time, apparently. So long as you have microsoft sam doing text to speech for the whole video sounding like he's having a stroke while butt chugging DMT.

Boofing dmt is where it's at
