There are more tokens than galaxies.
This is the best one anyone alive has ever witnessed.
There are more transactions than atoms in the universe.
This is the one grabbing the majority of them today.
Who would've thought, that something this genius and revolutionizing and brilliant could be invented by a group of people. Something that has been dreamed of but no one could figure out how. Something that has everyone hyped so much that they can't imagine a world where this new innovation didn't exist. Something that would have turned the world upside down and brought humanity to its knees. They did not even dare to think of it, they were just so happy to live in this age where they could see this innovation happen right before their eyes.
The stories from the records where all correct, the feeling they shared we never understood, is this it? Is this what it felt like when block-chain was invented?
Who knows how block-chain will evolve from its current state? Haha but bringing humanity to its knees sounds bit dramatic 😂 yet to get there but perhaps another 20 years? Like how internet evolve, just less than 20 years to reach current state.

That was directed at the time before bchain existed. How the system made everyone poor and only a few rich.
Even until now it is still quite concentrated at the top in terms of wealth. Perhaps it makes wealth distribution slightly easier?

No doubt that the future is bright! Given how quickly innovative cycles have been developing(i.e. internet, cloud, etc.), it may cone sooner that we expect!

I think this is very accurate for how people felt. It’s so big that it’s created a market worth way more than tens of billions of dollars. I think it’s pretty historic. This is still the early stages of everything as well. I wonder how things will look a decade from now.

I always like to use this when people cry automation will kill all jobs.
How many times did my parents tell me to quit playing video games because it doesn't provide any real life skills or I'm just wasting time as I'll never get paid to play video games.
Look at how many people are making decent side income as well as thousands and millions of dollars streaming video games and even playing them professionally. Until smart phones became a household electronic who would have thought that Uber would be a thing.
I'm waiting for the day when I can sell my car and just sign up on an app to let them know when I need a self driving car to pick me up and where to drop me off for work. That should be a significant savings not having to own a vehicle anymore paying for gas, maintenance, and insurance.
Why limit imagination and creativity with something as short sighted as UBI. Yes we may need it, but let's just wait and see what new jobs are created that weren't ever possible before.
