My Great Love
Do you know the feeling of fresh love?
(In Germany young men set a "Maibaum" to houses of the girls they love)
Your stomage is doing strange things, you cannot eat nor sleep nor concentrate on your work. It is a kind as if you are on drugs.
But you also know, that this feeling will calm down with the time.
When the partnership goes on and survives this time, then the feeling changes. It is going deeper. Trust, reliability and also dependency (in a positive meaning) is growing. You feel settled with your partner. Roots of your soul grow deep into the heart of your partner and vice versa.
But time also does stress-tests. Some partnerships break, others get injured and wounded and others grow up stronger then before.
I think, my wife and me are in the last category.
It is a great privilage for me to anounce, that I am still in love with my wife Annette since 26 years now. We are married for 20 years now.
I want to use this situation to tell the world that I enjoy my marriage and that she is my wife.
She is a wunderfull woman! She has a lot of attributes each man is looking for.
I love her!!!

The last "maibaum" I set was 20 years ago ;-). But you are right - it is a nice German tradition.
So did you do it exactly this year because of its "anniversary"? :P
Sometimes it is the right time to do what you should do - independent of anniversaries.
