God Loves The Detail

Most people think that it is important to work at the big things. They believe, the stories that are on the title pages of the newspapers, are the stories that change the world.
Wars, bank deals, political decisions, ... seem to be the global players.
But this is only a small part of the reality.

This is a picture of a braid:

It is a mixture of a mushroom and an algae. It is not only beautiful in its detail, it is also very common spread all over the world. It is a big producer of oxygen.

Here one can see moss, eggs of snails, and wool of a shield louse in one square centimeter.

The structure of a leaf is very similar to the structure of a river system in a rain forest:

One can argue also the other way around: Our planet is nothing than dust in the universe.

So there is no absolute coordination system for big or small.
It depends on the eye of the viewer.
I can see the beauty in all of them. And I believe that God creates the world new in every instance and with love and to the smallest detail.
