Qin Shi Huang Di, the first emperor of China lived around 220 B. C. He conquered six neighboring countries and united China for the first time at the age of 13. He constructed his tomb, which would be protected by Terracotta Army.
On March 29, 1974 Chinese farmers discovered in Shaanxi province in northwest China the significant archeological sites of the 20th century.
Terracotta Army is a collection of more than 8000 soldier, 130 chariots with 520 horse and 150 cavalry funerary statues. All the figures are life size, and each was designed and detailed with individual facial features. More than 700,000 laborers worked on the project.

In den siebziger Jahren entdeckten Chinesische Bauern, die größte Archäologische Entdeckung des 20 Jahrhunderts und eine der größten Attraktionen in China.
Die Figuren der Terrakotta Armee, des Ersten Kaisers von China Qin Shi Huang Di, wurden in der Nähe der chinesischen Provinzhauptstadt Xia entdeckt. Die Figuren waren mehr als 2000 Jahre in der Erde begraben.
200 v. Chr. eroberte Qin Shi Huang Di sechs Nachbarländer und vereinte China zum ersten Mal. Den Bau seiner Grabstätte ließ er kurz nach seiner Thronbesteigung starten. Über 8000 Terrakotta Soldaten, 130 Wagen und 520 Pferde dienten zur Überwachung des Grabes des Kaisers. Alle Figuren wurden individuell geformt keine Gesichtszüge, Kleidung, Frisur oder Gesten sind gleich.

really fantastic
I saw a small exhibit when there were a few in Asian Civilisation Musuem in Singapore. What I really like is to visit Xian someday to see this upclose.
