Helping is not always the best choise

I have heard many people to say that is not good to give an unwanted help. I never truly understood this. If you have the opportunity to help someone, why not? Well it turns out there is a truth in every wisdom. It's a matter of time and appropriate circumstances to see it.

Yesterday, I heard a loud buzzing coming from a corner on my porch, when I was on my way out of home. It sounded like the desperate appeal of creature being in danger. And it was. I looked up and I saw the poor animal caught in a spider's web. A bee. My heart filled with regret and my brain immediately gave me an action signal. I released her with the help of the broom handle. I was full with the desire to help and I didn't stop to think first. When I took her down to the ground, I saw that her eyes were blurred by a spider web wrapped around them. The spider was right beside her and wrapped her with it's sticky hug. I was scorched by my own noble desire to help. I gifted the bee with death in agony, and left the spider hungry.

Helping each other is the way to make our society better, but sometimes we need to leave things as they are meant to be. Our interference could simply make it worse. Which are these occasions? Well, this is a matter of personal judgement and sense of measure.
