Santa's Town...Hall
As days go by and we step further into the month of December, Christmas seems closer and closer to our doors and while I'm not living in Santa's town actually, and not gonna visit it either, I do have already a sense of holidays when going downtown at night/evening.
Yesterday I spend quite a few hours outside in the cold to test my friend's new DSLR camera and to learn a bit how to use it. We played a bit with aperture, ISO and shutter speed and managed to take some nice shots with the reflections of town's light on water. That's what he likes about photography...
While being there, I couldn't keep my smartphone in the pocket and snapped my, what has become, ordinary daily photos. This time I focused only on the decorations that we have in the center of our hometown. You can find them pretty much everywhere on the streets, but near the town hall you can find the most of them and the goofy Santa with his slay.
Not the most spectacular ones, but effort appreciated. We have some winter/Christmas songs as well in the background, but don't like them at all. The lights are nice though, and kind of change the mood when passing by. It's like feeling like a kid again.
What about you, do you like Christmas decorations? Do you like your city being decorated for Christmas?
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
