RE: Musing Posts

I answered this question on some previous thread also, but I find it very insightful. I even wrote an article about it months ago, but haven't had too much feedback about it. I believe that China with this type of social ranking system and even banning Bitcoin is trying to steal its citizens privacy and freedom by any means. I also know which are some of the consequences of having a low ranking number. One of them would be the fact that that person wearing such a low number wouldn't be able to travel anywhere anymore, for a certain period of time, until he grows the number. That in my opinion is close to imprisonment and slavery. Plus you could get a low social number just by buying video games. Now being able to do that means that China is in control of every citizen's actions to be able to give him/her a ranking number. Thus Chinese people will live in a "Big Brother" country where the Government will know every detail about them and will control them as it pleases. I don't know if it's already working this thing, but it would be some of the worst inventions of communism and the Chinese will suffer a lot. Their freedom and privacy would simply not exist anymore and they will become just numbers.
