I Can Hear My Steps Walking
I just got back from the supermarket and our downtown, after buying some groceries and I can't express myself of how disappointed I am that I can't enjoy the spring we have in here. This particular season is my favorite one because it's not too hot and not too cold either and every piece of nature is coming back to life in these few months, screaming Vitamin D.
With the pandemic and getting outside restrictions it's pretty hard to be in the nature and get the taste of it, at least not as much as I would like to, but I can still get once or twice a day to get to the supermarket or for a walk, and I have to accept that knowing that no matter how much I stress myself on it nothing will change today.
What I noticed today though, while taking pics on the way to my self declared destinations was that I could hear my steps walking. Really, that much silence we have in here, and the times that almost the entire planet is passing through we could call as the days Earth stood still. I have never ever experienced that much silence in here and it's magical.
There are folks here and there, but quite rare I have to admit comparing with normal traffic, and cars are mostly parked in front of their owners houses. Hence the noise seems reduced almost to its maximum. Not even the Danube dares to have waves. One could even meditate outside, if the police would allow that. By the way, I just read yesterday that the Romanian police has given fines of over $1.5 million in the first 24 hours of the emergency state. That's what they understood from this whole thing.
$12 out of those are mine and it seems that the minimum now is over $200. What's even more discouraging is that all this might keep us inside for two more months, which seems hard to even imagine. One can't fight the system though and the rest are simply obeying. I really don't know what to say about this pandemic anymore, as I find tons of opinions and views online, but it's highly frustrating.
Thanks for attention,
Adrian
