The Riverwalk Trail
5 miles from there's a park with baseball and soccer fields, and even a hockey rink. Plenty of jungle gyms for the kids and an 18 hole disc golf course. The part of the park that I hold near and dear would have to be all the woods surrounding it and the river walk trail. The trail stretches over 4 miles, there's even a spot on the trail that is on the opposite sideof the river that overlooks my house.
Seems like there's never enough time to explore every bit. The trails were an eye pleasing sight to behold, but that wasn't the best part. All the openings on the river showed their own beauty and perspective.
Every step of the trail was filled with new sights and that oh so familiar Autumn decay. The trees, animals, and hibernating growth. I walked about 5 miles today up and down the trail and every step was a new perspective.
I saw the milk weed and grabbed a partially opened pod, I plan to use this come spring for my garden. It may look ugly to some but the butterflies love it.
There's so much woods to explore, such a small amount space can feel like miles, I had to leave sooner than I wanted due to my hands and feet going numb, but I feel well from laying my eyes upon its beauty.

Thanks for the kind words. I try to do my best when capturing a moment with a picture, it can be hard to encompass all thats going on into one frame.
