Today is the first time I took a bus after we closed down non-essential workplace. I quit from my job and returned all the stuff to them on the last working day in February. Or so I thought. Most people who leave can settle everything before lunch time and f*** off before lunch. They have a form I had to go around different department to get signatures even when I don’t have things from that department. I wanted to dump the laptop first but the guy to whom I was supposed to return disappeared and didn’t come back till 3.30pm. In between I asked his colleague next to him and nobody wants to touch the thing like it’s COVID-19 infected item. I kept going back every half hour before catching him at 3.30pm. After that I still had to meet a HR lady at 5pm. 3 months later, 3 different people asked me about a card and who I returned it to. How the hell can I remember? I said I thought I returned everything. Should be one of the people I went round getting signatures for the form. I asked them what did the form said. They didn’t check the form. Damn it. The 3rd person who called after another 2 weeks said the form does not have the item as one to be clear. So, it’s not really my fault then. I told them I’ll check my bag. After digging out everything, the 2nd last item that came out of the bag was the card they were looking for. So, today I went on a bus to return the stupid card to them. I was told they were still paying for it monthly because they didn’t get the card back. No apologies from me. Blame it on your process. Anyway, buses have social distancing measures in place. The alternate seats have been blocked off which was good because I went to the supermarket nearby to buy some stuff on the way home and I can happily put my shopping bag on the empty seat much like that aunties I dislike when I see them occupying empty seats on bus with their stuff. 😎

今天是我们关闭不必要工作场所后，第一次坐公车。我辞掉工作后并在2月的最后一个工作日将所有东西都还给了他们。我以为是。大多数辞职的人可以在午餐时间之前解决所有事情就滚蛋。他们有一个表格，即使我没有该部门的东西，我也得到那部门去找人签名。我本来想先还笔记本电脑，但本应返回的那个家伙消失了，直到下午3.30才回来。在这之间，我问了他旁边的同事，没有人要管那台电脑好像它是感染到冠状病毒的东西。我每半小时回去一次，直到下午3.30才见到他。之后，我仍然必须在下午5点见一个人事部的女士。 3个月后，三个不同的人问我有关卡问我将卡还给谁。我怎么会记得？我说我以为我还了一切。应该是我四处寻找表格签名的人之一吧。我问他们表格说了什么。他们没有查看表格。TMD。又过了两周后打电话来的第三个人说，表格中没有清楚列那卡为一个项目。所以，那不是我的错。我告诉他们我要检查我的包包。挖完所有东西后，袋子里最后两件出来的东西，其中时他们要找的卡片。所以，今天我去坐公车，把那没用的东西还给他们。最后一个人告诉我他们仍在按月付款，因为他们没有收回卡。我没有道歉。怪只怪你的过程管理。无论如何，公已经履行了安全距离措施。车上的隔一个坐位被封了，这也不错，因为我回家前去了那里附近的超市买东西后搭公车回家，我可以很高兴地将购物袋放在空座位上，就像那些我不喜欢看到的大婶用她们的包包霸占空座位时一样。 😎
