Yesterday, after work, I decided to walk through Chinatown to check out the New Year market though the official New Year market isn't open until 4th January.
昨天下班后，我决定走过牛车水去看看年货市场，尽管真正年货市场要到1月4日才开。

Probably means one seed for $2. I have seen them selling durian by the seed in Bangkok not so long ago.

I always like the modern colours on these few shophouses.

This shop didn't seem to have what I want.

This one was where I have bought from a few times before.

Just near the outside, I found something I like.

I'm going in.

I showed a lady inside the photo of the one I wanted and waited while I took a short video inside.
我将我拍的照片给里面一位女士看。然后，她去拿我要的那个。等待之间，我在里面拍了一段简短的视频。
Then she came back while I was taking photos of these items at the counter.
然后当我在拍柜台这些物品的照片时，她回来了。
Paid her $9.80 and I was out of there. If I had come with my lady, there would have been more time spent choosing.
付了$9.80，我就走了。如果我跟家里的女人一起来，会花更多的时间去选呀选。
Then up the pedestrian overhead bridge to cross the road to meet her for dinner after mission accomplished.
