Thank God is Friday.

Greetings everyone. Today is another great day God has bless us with and I am here to share with you how my day was spent. Today is the 18th day of Ramadan according to the Islamic calendar so fasting still continuous as a healthy Muslim. I woke up around 4:00 am to take my suhoor (food taking in the morning for fasting). I finished taking my suhoor around 4:30am and it was not time for prayers so I recited Qur’an till it was 5:00 am and I prayed my fajr prayers. After prayers, I decided to learn because I was having exams around 8:00am. I learned from 5:20 till it was 7:10. I took my bath, rested for a while before it was 8:00 and we started the exams. Today exams was cool so I was able to finish all the questions I was expected to do, so I am now for lecture to mark and I will see if I provided the expected answers. We finished the exams around 9:30am. After the exams I decided to watch movie to release stress that was on me after the exams. I watched the movie till it was 11:30am.

Today is Friday so I have to prepare for Friday prayers (JUMU’AH). I ironed my cloth, took my bath and then took off to masjid for prayers. We finished prayers around 1:30pm so I came back to my hostel. When I got to the hostel, my hostel boys was set to play league (pes20) so I quickly joined them to play the league. We were about 10 people who played the league. We finished the league around 3:23pm, and at the end of the game, I was the third best in the league. Time for Asr prayers was due so I prayed and I rested for a while because I was a bit tired and weak. I tried sleeping but I couldn’t. I remembered my calculator went off when I was writing the exams so I decided to repair it myself because I have ever sat with somebody who repairs calculator to repair in front of me. I opened the calculator but how to determine the fault was the problem. I tried my best to identify the problem, I used all my mathematical formulae and all my economic concepts but all to no avail, the problem couldn’t identified. It was then I got to realize that we shouldn’t undermine any profession.

I sat with my calculator till it was 6pm but I couldn’t identify the problem. It was getting to time to break our fast so I prepared and went to the masjid to break my fast. After breaking the fasting, we prayed Magrib prayer and then I came back to my hostel.

Around 7:15 I went back to the masjid to pray my Isha and Tarawee prayer. We finished the prayer around 8:40 so I came back to my hostel. I got some heavy food to eat because I was not eaten by then since I broke my fast. After eating, I took my bath and I went to bed. I have to sleep early in order to wake up early the next morning for my fasting.

This was how my day was spent.
