Portrait process of digital art. (R52_N6_2020)

Hi guys! I would like to share one of my recent digital art. It is a portrait.
For whose do not know me, my name is Abrahma Tansini. I am a graphic designer that love to draw, makes characters design and all about digital art. I keep learning a lot about digital art and I am keeping push myself to become a better artist.

Here a little bit about my process how I made it. Hope some of this steps can help to another artist to improve and learn

1- I make a sketch. Is not neccesary at this step details on character, it is just a simple sketch like a reference.

2- I decided to add an extra detail on the sketch, "a Rose" the symbolized the beauty.

3- Generally I added a flat color and each color into separate layer. I mean, One layer for skin, another one for hair and go on.

4- In this step I applied some shadows. I know, it looks horrible, but this step is necessary!
Is not possible reach the goal if we do not walk through tge road, and sometimes this road is not easy.

5- I arrived here and I think it was the hardest step of whole process. In this moment I did not feel proud of how it was turn out the illustration, I feel a little bit down. The special tip that I can give to everybody is: "tolerate the frustration of a ugly drawing", is important to keep drawing and does not matter if you made a mistake, the most important is keep and pushing yourself to reach the next level.

6- With a lot of patience and overcome the frustration of last step, I added light and blend the colors on skin characters. I also work a lot in rose combination color. Finally the illustrations is become really cool.

7- Now I liked how it was looks. I added more light on skin, hairs details and work on background color.

8- Here I change the composition size. Added some effects. An interesting thing was added a scar on face characters. I do not know, but it give strength on character actitud.

9- Just another color adjustment and the art is already completed.

I really like the process to reach an art. So here I left the animation gif of this piece.
