Dirty Old Paper Mill Town Recieves Great American Main St. Award

Oregon City, Oregon was one of three U.S. cities honored with the Great American Main Street award in 2018. Over the past ten years, it's downtown district has changed it's reputation as a run-down tavern district, to one of the Portland area's hip areas to get dark coffee or beer. The paper mill that went defunct in 2011 was recently sold and is slated for demo/waterfront development in upcoming years. A look at an old mill town that is coming up:
