President Trump Pushing For War?

In a recent move, President Donald Trump withdrew the US from a Nuclear. The 1987 pact prohibits the United States and Russia from possessing, producing or test-flying a ground-launched cruise missile with a range of 300 miles to 3,400 miles. The President said that this is because Russia has broken the agreement and he will not remain in this treaty unless Russia and China, China of which was never part of this agreement, show efforts that this is something they wish to keep. The Kremlin said the pullout is a very dangerous step. A quote from an article by the Economic Times:

Peskov said President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly warned that the demise of the treaty would force Moscow to take specific military steps to protect its own security.

"Scrapping the provisions of the INF treaty forces Russia to take measures for its own security because what does scrapping the INF treaty mean?," said Peskov.

"It means that the United States is not disguising, but is openly starting to develop these systems in the future, and if these systems are being developed, then actions are necessary from other countries, in this case Russia, to restore balance in this sphere.”

Germany, France, and China are all on board that this is a terrible idea, and NATO will also need to get involved on this now. This is another move by Trump in fear ever since Russia and China made a show of their military strength and revealed just how weak the US military is.
