Color Challenge: Friday's SkyBlue — The Nearest Beach

I remember counting my steps from our place up to the nearest beach. 235 steps. 298 steps. Depends on my short legs' energy. Although these were taken hundreds of moons ago; I can still hear the quietness of the ocean as the sky folds into darkness, echoing only the faintest sound of the birds.
