Bibingka and Hopia
I feel so lucky today! I got two of my favorite native delicacies. On the right side is the bibingka and on the left is the hopia.
Bibingka
This is a rice cake made primarily of rice flour and coconut milk. The mixture is put into molds with banana leaves as liners. It is cooked inside the oven. The traditional way of cooking bibingka is putting them inside clay pots but this process takes a long time.
Hopia
This is a kind of Chinese cake or pastry with bean paste inside. The one on the picture used ube or purple yam though. When I bought these earlier, the hopia was still hot and fresh from the oven. The inside is soft and chewy while it is almost crispy on the outside. The pastry is thin and flaky.

I just have to make a point.
RECOVERY is a journey. It's never finished. It's like å car. You have to fix small kroken parts all the time if not it can be dangerous.
Thats why i say self reflcting is so important so you can see which way things are going and so that you can stop bad habits before it get dangerous.
