KINGDOM HEARTS III: THE NUMBER OF WORLDS AND THE PROGRESS OF THE PROJECT EVOKED
This weekend, the D23 Expo Japan takes place in Tokyo and Square Enix took the opportunity to give news of the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III, particularly with regard to its content and the state of its development.
In addition to an enticing trailer, which you can find below, the publisher and developer has given several details that report to us our brothers GameSpot. We learn that the entire Osaka studio is working on this title, plus a hundred members of the Tokyo division. The project is divided into three parts, and they would each include about three worlds; however, the developer says it does not mean there will be nine worlds in total.
In terms of completion of the project, we are told that the first part is 90% complete, and the second part 60%, while the last part is unknown. That said, creative director Tetsuya Nomura says this final part includes something he has always wanted to add, since he's working on Final Fantasy, and that should surprise everyone.
Finally, we knew that the Gummi Ship will make its comeback in this episode, and today Square Enix specifies that its presence will be divided into two phases: one of exploration, promising to be quite free, and one of fighting, with more enemies than ever.
