Years ago my Korean colleagues told me a lot of Korean's come here for their honeymoon. Is that still trun nowadays, or do they prefer to go overseas?
A long time ago it was popular for honeymoons. Now people go abroad. It's so overcrowded these days because mainland Chinese can stay visa free, you realy have to try to make it romantic.

Some of that artcile is sensationalistic, but the pictures don't lie.
They are trying to build a second airport because it is over crowded, but the residents are strongly opposed, so it won't be finsihed for years.
The gimpo (seoul) to jeju city air route is the busiest in the world.

That is a beautiful spot and how fortunate that you have had the chance to visit it a few times! How unfortunate that it is being overrun with tourist, but as you say you have seen all those busy spots so you can go where there isn't as many tourists!
