I haven't tried growing beets yet (I think I'm being adventurous growing potatoes for the first time), but I love the taste of them, especially roasted, and some varieties are so pretty.
Beets are easier to grow than potatoes! Much easier to pull out than digging.

Up until the headphone issues - where you listening to your favorite beats, while tending to your beets? ;-)
I tend them at home, so its my speaker I listen to beats to while tending my beets. But at my garden, yes!
