What Do You Know About Vitamin E?

Hello wonderful members of the secret beauty community. I joined this community not long ago and I am so glad to be in such an educative community. I have been spending a lot of time here reading lots of educative posts and I feel it is best I share some of my knowledge with you guys. So earlier within this year, I was having a lot of problem with my skin, that was when I realized that I had to listen to my skin for some time. For about a month, I stopped using all my skincare products just to study my skin. In the cause of my study, I was making a lot of researches to find what will work best for me because as humans, we all differ in our genetic types.

During my break from my products, all I was using was vitamin E essential oil. After 2 weeks of use, I realized my skin was really moisturized and my breakouts had surprisingly reduced . Even though I knew about its benefits, I hardly paid attention to it. So in this post, I will be discussing about the benefits of vitamin E and foods we can gain Vitamin E from. Do stick and stay with me as I take you through.

First of all, vitamin E is one of the Vitamins that are needed for the wellbeing of the body. It has antioxidant properties that protects the cells of the body from damage. It also has anti inflammatory properties that protects the body cells from inflammatory. Vitamin E has a lot of great benefits to the body. Some benefits of Vitamin E are;
  1. It supports the immune system.
  2. Helps to fights acne scars.
  3. Gives you a flawless skin.
  4. Has anti - ageing properties.
  5. Helps to promote soft and healthy lips when added in a lip care regimen.
  6. Promotes good vision.
  7. Regeneration of cell properties.
  8. Prevents heart diseases.
  9. Helps to prevent cancer.

I'm sure most of you are wondering how the Vitamin E can be used. Below are some uses of Vitamin E.
  1. The supplement can be taken as part of your daily supplement.
  2. The oil can be applied directly on your face and body before bed for best results or
  3. Can be added to your pomade ( if you don't feel comfortable with oil on your bare skin).
Vitamin E, is basically a plant based vitamin but that doesn't mean we don't get some from animal sources. Luckily for us, vitamin E can be found in most of the foods we consume daily. Some of these foods are;
  1. Mango
  2. Avocado
  3. Kiwifruit
  4. Peanut fruit and seeds
  5. Blackberries
  6. Cranberries
  7. Sunflower oil
  8. Almond oil
  9. Octopus
  10. Lobster
  11. Cod, to mention but a few.

Since most of our meals contain vitamin E, you can decide to take more of those foods or go in for the Vitamin E food supplement which will go a long way to increase your Vitamin E level in your body.
