STORY CONTEST: THE PRINCESS WHO WAS TOO HARD TO PLEASE

Hello everyone, I'm happy to be part of this contest because it's all about writing story which I love so much. Thanks much @rosenenye for inviting.
My story is also from good olden days, one in which I love reading to my friends during my secondary school days. Enjoy reading.

The story is about a princess who is beautiful but arrogant and pompous. She declined all her suitors because they were not handsome and rich to her standard. Rich farmers and good wrestlers ask her hand in marriage but she decline. She always describe her kind of man to her friends and Father but none of the description fits the men in her village.

" I shall get married to the most handsome and richest man in our kingdom even if he doesn't love me" says the princess. Years passed but she didn't still find her kind of man.

One day, a young, tall, handsome and rich man approach her and immediately ask her hand in marriage and she accepted without declining.
The princess took the man to his father for blessings and everybody was happy that she will finally get married.

The man look strange and was extremely handsome and rich. He was perfectly made and people wonder which of the village could have this man that glitters everywhere.

Date was fixed and the celebration begins which ended with so much joy and happiness.
Everybody went back to their various homes and the young man took the princess which is his wife home.

Their journey lasted for 3 days paddling from one village to another. They passed all the villages that has great men which the princess thought he should stop.
It gets darker and they stop by a small hut close to the bank of the river and passed the night there. It was the least village with the poorest number of people.

"This is where we will spend the night to continue our journey tomorrow." says the man.
She woke up in the morning and saw the ugliest man with the face of a baboon. She scream and the her husband quickly jump into the river and run away.

The point is that, the man wasn't handsome and rich. He always wish to marry the princess that's why he went to a magician to change him which lasted for some time. The princess wept till night falls and doesn't know where to go.

MORAL LESSON: let love lead and we all should be contented. We should not be self-centered too.
