INTRODUCTION

Hello friends, this is another intriguing title I'm happy to write about and as usual would like to see other participants ideas on it. its all about transparency in marriage.
Transparency today is very vital and should be followed vividly but unfortunately not observed by some spouse that is why we have broken homes and relationships.

We all know that everyone has a right to privacy which is a sign that you respect people's boundaries and trust but then, it's not the same in marriage for too much privacy brings distrust and builds a long bridge that partners find hard to cross.

BRIEFLY EXPLAIN TRANSPARENCY IN MARRIAGE TO A LAYMAN'S UNDERSTANDING.

Transparency in marriage to a layman is each spouse that is; husband and wife are fully honest to each other . They don't tell lies or hide things to one another. When they have issues, they sit together and talk about it openly, admit heir faults and mistakes and then solve it amicably.
This explains that when there is transparency in marriage, you will not be ashamed or afraid to say the truth.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THE NEED FOR TRANSPARENCY IN MARRIAGE AND OTHER RELATIONSHIPS.

My opinion when it comes to transparency whether in marriage or other relationships remains the same because the way you handle your relationship shows how you will build your home in marriage.
Transparency is the number one secret for a healthy marriage. It's saves marriage when you share your innermost thoughts and feelings with your partner.
I strongly believe and want transparency in marriage because it's create that strong bond between spouse instead of crumbling.
There are two things I want to point out as basis for my opinion.

FINANCIAL STATUS.
in this area, I think if both partners join hands to raise their family financially in details to their day to day expenses and income, they will be able to have a happy and understanding home.

The wife will not blame the husband when they are not financially stable, instead she will will use the word "we" by saying we don't have money in our account so we should spend less.
In this case, the man won't even stress himself to explain.

LIFESTYLES
This is when transparency is very important. For instance, if your partner smokes and hide it from you, it brings disappointment and hatred when you find out. But if at first the habit was discussed and made known, decision will be taken politely in accepting or not into one's life
These and many others are the factors that shows the need for transparency in marriage.

IN A CASE WHERE ONE PARTNER FINDS OUT THE OTHER PERSON IS KEEPING SECRETS, WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE DONE

It depends on the kind of secrets. This case is underlined as betrayal and often leads to emotional distance
What I think should be done is first find out what kind of secret it is and why he is hiding it. To my own view, some people keeps secret because of how embarrassed it is to them and how their weakness will be revealed.
Another thing to do is raised a discussion on it to see how the other partner responds, or asked directly to the partner to state his reasons.
So generally, creating a supportive space for partners to share their story when ready should considered.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP THAT LACKS TRANSPARENCY? IF YES , WHAT DID YOU DO BUT IF NO, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

No I haven't!. If I were to be, I would like to ask questions about the suspected areas lacking transparency.
Being in such relationship brings about tempting to pry information out of your partner purely out of curiosity of concern. So to avoid this from happening, I'll be proactive. This means making my partner feel emotionally safe in sharing his story with me easily.

Considering that some secret is not intentional or deliberately, it's how I'll react that makes the relationship not to be transparent.
The most important thing is that I'll try to set examples in making the relationship transparent but if you don't follow, I'll quit because lack of transparency ruins relationships.

CAN TRUTH BE HIDDEN FOREVER?

The answer is no! God has given us what we call " conscience". It hunts and make you restless. The truth doesn't hide forever but reveal itself . It is impossible and eventually appears despite all the effort you put to hide it .
So, just like sunshine and pregnancy, you can suppress the truth but can't hide it forever.

CONCLUSION

The title " transparency in marriage when written and read by so many people will enlightened them and throw more light on mutual understanding and talking about everything often
Transparency is also a tool that helps us honor God through right living, prevent secrecy and improves intimacy.
There is a saying, " marriage is like a coin, you spend it anyhow you want it but you can only spend it once!.
