Introducing Myself

Hey, Abhinav Mendhe here. Three and twenty. I am a novice on steemit and choose to show my presence with my writing. I aspire to become a writer. I want to get into the habit of daily writing to improve as a writer. I write short stories, poems, book reviews, informative articles. I plan to decorate my thoughts more on blank pages. My literary role models are William Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway, Emily Dickinson, and Sylvia Plath. William Shakespeare gives me confidence to write. Ernest Hemingway helps me venture unimaginable things coupled endeavour clarity in my writing. Emily Dickinson and Slyvia Plath give depth to my soul.

I find solace in reading. Reading is the only sure thing in my life. My favourite reads are: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. I have read these books countless times.

I work in an NGO where I teach underprivileged kids. I have been a part of the organisation three years and it feels now that the kids are my own. I like playing football. I support Argentina national team and FC Barcelona. I hope to see people with similar interests as mine.
