"Christmas is not a season, it's a feeling"..... Wish You a Merry Christmas!!! "Love or Hate Christmas", a topic to discuss, let's see how I feel Christmas and what you think about my point of view...
What I like about Christmas

Christmas is the season where all my family members get together giving a pause to our busy life style. We go on shopping together, family outings, have family dinners and gossiping time. We spend our time together cleaning, painting and decorating the house to welcome the Christmas and New Year. And my mom gets a break from the kitchen where dad, my brothers and I try on new dishes that we find on YouTube. This gives us so much fun struggling to improvise what is exactly said in the video. Then comes the family card playing time... I and mom are not good at playing cards, ha ha ! but we two end up as the winning pair with our girls' tricks... Yes I'm having the best days of the year in this Christmas season filled with love and laughter, I wish that this may last long!!!
What I don't like about Christmas

Christmas is not the same for everyone. When some celebrate Christmas in a grand ways with new cloths, tasty foods, luxury holidays and fun, there are also some people who cannot even provide themselves with a day's meal. Imagine how poor parents become helpless when they cannot provide their kids with new cloths and good food at least on Christmas. Christmas is all about spreading love and kindness, but are we celebrating Christmas with its true meaning? When we are peacefully celebrating Christmas with our loved ones there are countries that are flamming in war, isn't it a tragedy? I would appreciate that if each one of us can be a part of spreading love and kindness making a world where everyone one have the opportunity to equally be happy.
My opinion on those who don't like Christmas

As I previously mentioned Christmas is not same for everyone, due to various personal reasons there may be people who don't like Christmas. I'll give you a simple example; on 26th of December 2004, Sri Lanka had a disastrous Tsunami where thousands of lives were taken away. There were children lost their parents, parents lost their children and so on. Having such a tragic memory can those families celebrate Christmas when they remember how they lost their family members on the following day of Christmas. Therefore we cannot judge people based on their preferences, because there may be sensitive tragic stories unheard.
The message I want to convey about Christmas
Christmas is all about sharing and caring. There are people in need always try to help them at your best. May be you are also having hard days but trust me supporting those who are in need will come as a gift for you in reverse because the universe blesses you for your good heart. Today, we spent our Christmas sharing our meal with our neighborhood, a poor family who have a differently abled adult. They were highly elated and thanked us a lot for remembering us on this special day. All I want you all to do is spread kindness to the world and work for the betterment of the world where everyone receives equal opportunities.
