RE: How much automation is on Drugwars with scripts and bots?
Hi @crokkon
Thank you for this analysis in relation to a topic I am personally interested in at present. This is the first utopian-io contribution for @drugwars, even though there have been stats posts produced relating to the game - perhaps it could spark a few more on the project :)
the 5th of March had a total of close to 80000 custom_json ops related to drugwars while a a blockchain day with 3s block time has 28.8k blocks - that's 2-3 drugwars ops per block in average!!
Quite an amazing statistic! The drug-lords really took over the blockchain on the 5th!
17% of all attacks were scripted
...users with scripted attacks is at around 2%
So 2% of the users generated almost a 5th of all the attacks, and I wonder just how many of those 2% are individual people!
I'm glad to hear the game is locking down on the scripts, and I hope they can see from the analysis just how much is/was going on without user input. If the game can't function do to automation, then everyone loses.
Cheers!

Hi Asher, thanks for the review and the resteem! :)
Yeah, pretty amazing stats on the number of ops per day, I also would not have expected that. The distribution of operations across users is an interesting aspect, it may well be that this field is dominated by only a few players. Let's see what the team will come up with, I'm pretty confident they will find a reasonable solution for anybody.
Cheers!
My pleasure :)
Yes I think this could well be the case, and hope DW can do as you say and keep everyone happy :)
Iwas going to comment smart and make myself sound smart, then i realized...i nat be running out of steem(pun intended) for the day. So, love ya brother. An I'll talk to you later.
Thank you for your review, @abh12345! Keep up the good work!
