The blockchain technology provides more efficiency and transparency to the platforms that are based on it. Also, it enhances the scalability, security, and transparency of the platform, but sometimes addressing all these features becomes difficult for it due to several reasons.

Among all of them, scalability remains a major challenge for blockchain-based platforms because scalability is the ability of a network to record and validate transactions. But sometimes, when the load of transactions increases over the network, it leads to network congestion, which results in the delay of several transactions.

This is because, due to its low scalability, it becomes difficult for the platform to validate a large number of transactions at the same time. So to deal with the scalability issues, Layer 2 Scaling Solutions has merged as a promising solution over the past few years. Yes, the Layer 2 Scaling Solution is very helpful and useful to deal with the scalability issues of the network.

So among the layer 2 scaling solutions, the lighting network and the raiden network are the most prominent solutions for the network. This is because they both have their own unique features that record the transactions off to the main chain of the network, which results in a decrease in the load of transactions over the main chain. And then, as a result, the network became more scalable and efficient in terms of validating transactions.

In this way, we can say the lighting network can be beneficial for the ethereum network due to its unique features.

But it all depends on the developers and the team of experts in the platform, whether they want to implant a lightning network or a raiden network. This is because their perspectives and aims can be different from others, due to which it all depends on them to utilize lightning or a raiden network. In the past few years, the lightning network has proven to be the most effective and useful layer of scaling solutions for the largest blockchain-based crypto currencies like Bitcoin. Raiden Network

The Raidan network is widely adopted by the Ethereum network due to its unique features and specifications. The workings of the raiden network are quite similar to those of the lightning network, as they also utilize the payment channels for validating transactions off the main chain and reducing transaction fees. In this way, it takes an active part in enhancing the scalability and security of the Ethereum network.

Besides having useful and incredible features, the Raiden Network is not as popular as the Lightning Network. The main reason behind that aspect is that the Raiden network is still in the upgrading and developing stages, due to which it is not being adopted by the other blockchain-based platforms. Due to which people may face challenges in utilizing the raiden network to address the scalability of a network.
