Currently, 90% of the people of Bangladesh have a relationship with medicine shops. We are affected by some disease or the other, due to which we have to go to the pharmacy. Today, I am located at Payra E-Pharma at Charubabur intersection in Dinajpur. It provides medicine services both offline and online. At one time, doctors from government hospitals used to see patients here regularly, but now no doctor sits here and only provides medicine sales services. It is an independent pharmacy owned by a person. Which has been providing services for the last 3-6 years. Since the time of Covid 19, they started home delivery service by taking online orders and it was a great success. They provide free home delivery within the city. As a result, one additional job has been created.

It is medium-sized but not modern. But their service is good and they can provide every medicine according to the needs of the customers. Each medicine is arranged in their own way according to the category. They can find out quickly by looking at the prescription. Only medicine is available here, along with dental supplies (toothbrush, paste,) handwash, hand sanitizer, basic medical equipment (thermometer, BP measuring device, diabetes measuring device, crutches, wheelchair) are available for health awareness. Here they sell all normal medicines but there are some medicines which are not sold without doctor's prescription like antibiotics, sleeping pills, syrups which are addictive are not sold to everyone. There are medicines here but no herbal medicines.

There are many medicine shops here at the same time, all of them offer the same price, everyone gives 10%-12% discount on the total medicine. In this medicine shop, it is sure that the medicine I am taking is not adulterated or duplicated but original. There is no membership card or any other benefit here. Trusted brands and safe medicines are available here. They remove expired medicines in advance so that such medicines do not go to the patient by mistake. They use refrigerators to store some vaccines which have to be stored at a specific temperature.

The pharmacists here are both skilled and unskilled, but the unskilled are here to learn the job, their job is not to sell medicine but to get acquainted with medicine. Skilled pharmacists supply medicines to the customers as per the prescription. The skilled pharmacists here have 6-12 months of government or private training in pharmacy. They give temporary advice to the patient or check the patient's BP, body temperature and give initial advice. There is no seating area here, but there is a seating area inside the pharmacy to measure BP or temperature. They take online orders and do home delivery (within a specific area of ​​the city). No, they are not open 24/7. They close the shop at midnight as it is not in the hospital area.

Their shop is clean and well organized. As I said, the job of those who are new is to arrange the medicine and get acquainted with the pharmacy. Now, there are not so many safety rules. I like this pharmacy because the pharmacists here are sincere and help me with anything. They treat the customer well and talk politely which attracts me. Their service is good and safe. There is a guarantee of getting the medicine. I rarely take medicine for myself, the ones that are absolutely necessary for first aid have not created any memorable moments while purchasing them.
